JOB PURPOSE

The AM Volunteer Projects is required to develop and implement the Volunteer program at Patients’ Aid
Foundation.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is permanent. The Volunteer Lead will be responsible for the following functions:

 

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Developing the programs and executing them in coordination with other departments.
  • Assuring the implementation of policies for the program.
  • A deep understanding of how PAF works in different wards of Jinnah to be able to better strategize the working of the volunteer program.
  • Preparation of the guidelines for the smooth execution of the programs.
  • A clear step-by-step indication of the programs.

Operational Responsibilities

  • AMVP will be responsible for all the coordination regarding volunteer program among departments and the board.
  • AMVP will be conducting the needs analysis for the volunteer program from different wards ofJinnah on regular basis that will help the team reshape the program as and when required.
  • AMVP will be responsible for all the documentation of volunteers (Joining pack, ID cards,performance reports etc)
  • Administer the attendance and general day-to-day issues of the volunteers.
  • Induction of volunteers (a little introduction to PAF and volunteer program policies)
  • Recruitment and selection of volunteers according to the recruitment policy
  • Manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. This includes seeking continuous feedback from the departments in which volunteers are assigned.
  • Formulation and implementation of the reward policy for the volunteers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BBA degree preferably from an accredited institution
  • At least one year of relevant experience (Preferably NGO)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound organizing and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency in using computers (MS Office and Internet)
  • Strong command over spoken and written English
