JOB PURPOSE

The Assistant manager HR is required to handle a variety of personnel related administrative duties. He/she provide information and clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources activities, policies, processes and procedures.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Manage the recruitment & selection process to attract the right candidates for PAF
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment,training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Prepare and manage monthly payroll of all departments
  • Manage and monitor the attendance system and leave records
  • Manage and process the medical insurance policy for employees
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
  • Manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BBA degree in HR preferably from an accredited institution
  • At least one year of relevant experience as an HR generalist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound organizing and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency in using computers (MS Office and Internet)
  • Strong command over spoken and written English
